Amethyst Receptionist E-Learning Course
Course Outline
This FHT approved course is designed to complement the Amethyst Specialist Cancer Massage Course for therapists and provides the reception team with the vital information required to enable them to arrange treatments and salon or spa bookings for people living with or have a history of cancer.
This course will cover:
- Understand what is cancer
- Recognise why it is important for trained therapists to carry out their massage therapy treatments
- Consider your booking protocols to be inclusive for people living cancer
- Record and disseminate information to the correct team members to enable them to prepare for people living with cancer
- Generate bookings for people living with cancer that are appropriate and suitable for their individual needs
Assessment Methods
Students will be assessed after each Topic. There is a Summary and a recap Quiz to help consolidate learning as you go followed by an Assessment which has a qualifying pass rate of 80% to gain Certification. Certification is delivered electronically and produced immediately on successful completion.
Duration
Online home study for this course takes 2-3 hours, and can be studied at short or long intervals depending on each learner's preference and availability. It is computer, laptop and mobile phone enabled to make it very accessible for all.
